Genuine Burberry

Firstly, take notice of how many lines there are, both horizontally and vertically. check the distance between the lines and the colouring of them. If there are any differences, it is likely to be fake.
Compare all of the features, such as zips and pockets for differences as well.

Secondly, there are of course ways in which you can identify a fake without having a genuine bag to compare it with. For example; All coloured stripes which form the pattern of the check will be perfectly straight and meet perfectly at the seams. Where the sides of the bag are stitched together the stripes will meet in perfect alignment.

Thirdly, zips will all be in either a silver or gold colour and whichever of those colours is used on that particular bag should match the embossed letters on the leather tags which are found inside the bag.

Last but not least, all Burberry bags are perfectly symmetrical. However the bag looks on one side, whatever the pattern and colours are, will be exactly how the bag should look on the other side, and if there is any differences, no matter how small, will show the bag to be a fake.
